It is estimated that approximately 3.4 million in the United States have active epilepsy, and more than 65 million globally. Additionally, 1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy at some point during their lifetime. Epilepsy can begin at any age. Studies haven’t identified a prime diagnosis time, but the incidence rate is highest in young children under 2 and adults aged 65 or older.
We will host fundraising events in memory of Joanna to give financial aid to those in need. We hope to inspire others with Joanna’s personality and positive outlook on life. We would love to hear your story and help if possible. Please reach out to us if you or someone you know is in need.
