As you run or walk, you’ll experience a vibrant mix of music, performances, and cultural celebrations from all corners of the globe. At the finish line, enjoy a festival filled with entertainment, activities, and more!

This event is more than just a run, it’s a chance to honor the memory of Joanna Sophia Ioannou and raise awareness for epilepsy. Join us for a day of fitness, fun, and community, all inspired by Joanna’s joyful spirit.

8:00 AM: Final registration & shirt pick-up (Shirt sizes are not guaranteed)

You must wear your 2026 Joanna T-Shirt & Bib. It serves as your admission ticket so you do not need to check-in.
We highly recommend arriving early since parking is difficult in this area and so you can enjoy some of the entertainment we have lined up.
If you leave your car at the start of the run, you will have to carpool or take a cab back to retrieve your car.
Lockers will not be provided so you must bring your personal items with you.

Walk to Joanna Sophia Around The World in 5k Cyprus

The Joanna Sophia Foundation is proud to partner with Round Table 7 Paphos to Raise Awareness for SUDEP & Epilepsy with the very first Joanna Sophia Around The World In 5km Cyprus Run. The event will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM, starting at Castle Square in Paphos, with the support of the Municipality of Paphos.

We are expanding our reach from our annual run in New York to hosting our very first Fun Run in Cyprus. The 5km Fun Run invites participants of all ages, from dedicated runners to families, to come together in support of the Joanna Sophia Foundation’s mission, to raise awareness about Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) and Epilepsy.

This Fun Run is filled with fun surprises, photo-worthy inflatables, and excitement along the course. After the run, Castle Square will host food, entertainment, and family-friendly activities to celebrate together.
